Well, we've had a good week here in California. Spring has sprung and we've had a visit from Steve Ferguson from Adelaide Australia. Adelaide has been over 100 F or 35 C for over a month now. So we'll not complain about the weather here as we get the fire going and are waiting for some shorts weather.
It was great to have Steve, I picked him up in SF and went to Sonoma Valley and we tasted some of the "good oil" as Steve put it. We then went to an NBA game, the Sacramento Kings vs the Portland Trailblazers. It was good to go together, but the game was not so good. (Both teams are out of the playoffs and didn't seem very interested in this game.)
Well, after the game we took Steve shopping, the computer store (Fry's), shopping for Keryn and finally to Costco where the $1.50 polish and refillable soda were a big hit. Finally, we had a great dinner together and shared a good drop from Stonestreet Winery. Thanks for coming Steve it was great to see ya mate!
Here's Robert Young Winery which we visited. Even Steve admitted California makes some pretty good Cab Sav. So you can see there's good reason to come and visit.
